We are a seven-day-a-week church.  In other words, we are not just open for business on Sunday.  There are many activities throughout the week, including non-member and community events.  First Church has many meetings spaces, for both large and small groups.  We have an abundance of audio/video technology, including Wi-fi, along with a very well appointed kitchen in our lower level and a delightful cafe area on our first floor.

First Church is also handicap accessible to our meeting and events areas.

There are fees associated with various building use.  To find out more or book a date, contact our church office.  You may also feel free to stop in and check out the facility.

Weddings

Members and friends are welcome to exchange wedding vows at First Church.  Our worship space seats 250-300 people; and we have an abundance of space for pictures and other preparations, including our first floor bride’s lounge, with adjacent woman’s restroom.

Receptions at the church are an option.  We have two large rooms to meet the needs of up to 100 people.  One of those rooms is connected to a full kitchen.  There are fees associated to the use of those rooms, in addition to non-member fess for use of the sanctuary for wedding ceremony.  For a current list of fees associated with weddings or receptions, contact the church office.

Funerals

When we experience the loss of a loved one, no matter how young or old they were, it is a sad time.  It is also a time to remember and even celebrate that person’s life.  Often times people will not be connected to a faith community, but would like a funeral or memorial service held in a church.  We welcome you to consider First Church as your home during this season of your life.  Our sanctuary is open for non-member funerals and memorial services which strive to be personal and God-centered.  Our minister will also conduct services at funeral homes or locations of your choice.  In addition to the service, our minister will meet with family members to plan how you would like to honor your loved one and get to know your family in a personal way.

There are no fees associated with the conduct of funerals and memorial services.  We realize that death comes at unexpected times and may find families not connected to a faith community.  In lieu of fees, families will often times offer an honorarium to clergy or a gift to the church.

If there is any way we can minister to you during your time of loss, we encourage you to call and speak with our minister.
