Roundup, Montana
Adult Mission Trip
During May and June of 2011, Roundup, a small agricultural community in southeastern Montana, was hit not once but twice with flooding. Record rains and melting snow caused the Musselshell River to gush into Roundup’s low-lying neighborhoods. Dozens of residences and businesses were evacuated.
Roundup is a UCC Disaster Recovery Site located in Musselshell County, one of the poorest counties in the state. The main sources of income for the valley are cattle and sheep ranches and products such as hay, corn and sorghum.
The trip was August 11—19.  Please keep the community of Roundup and those who plan to participated in your prayers!
Think about this WARNING:  Mission trips may change your current disposition!  You may experience new friends, have empathy, care more, pray more, worry less, worship in a glorious new way, listen to different music, perform random acts of kindness and service. Can you handle these side effects in/on your family?
